The realisation of your project in 7 steps
1. The contact
Describe your project in a few lines in the forms proposed on our web site and submit it online.
2. The pre-project consultation meeting
Our Customer Service department will contact you within 3 days to plan a preliminary consultation with a Project Manager. This first contact will allow you to verify the technical and financial feasibility of your project. The 69€ fee will be reimbursed if you opt for the study which is the next step.
3. The study
It will be conducted by our Project Manager and our research team, it will also detail the entire project, a description of which will be included in the Project File that will be submitted to you.
This Project File will contain the following:
- Plans and dimensions of the existing area
- Plans of the project which you will have validated
- A comprehensive and detailed quotation
- The timetable of the work to be done
- General conditions of service
- The warranties
- The time of validity is 30 days for the prices but 8 days for the timetable (the contractors having schedules which change rapidly)
- Help with administrative paperwork
This study will be charged based on the chart in the section entitled “our rates”. It will be submitted to you between 2 and 4 weeks following your request, depending on the scope of your project.
4. Your agreement to the home improvement project
If you accept the terms in the Project File, you will then give the green light to your Project Manager who will be your sole contact throughout the duration of the work.
This “order” involves 3 steps:
- A deposit of 30% which will be used by the service professionals to buy the necessary materials and validate the schedule.
- To establish and submit the official plans to the service professionals which will enable them to prepare their work.
- 2 to 3 weeks before the beginning of the job, all of the concerned service professionals will confirm in your presence where and when the work will be done.
5. The construction
During the work, the Project Manager will supervise the project, follow up on the execution of the different jobs and will take the necessary actions that the complexity of the work may require. He will be your first contact in case any problems arise but also to validate any modifications you may wish to make. To ensure the success of your project, it will be necessary to recalculate any changes in the cost or timetable that may ensue.
During the work, the service professionals are committed to respecting:
- The rules of art and the existing norms
- The terms on the quotation
- The deadlines, while taking into account any possible technical or weather-related problems.
- The cleanliness and safety of the work area.
6. The acceptance of work done
Once the work has been completed, you and your Project Manager will verify that the finished job corresponds to what was stated in your quotation. In the absence of any disputes, both parties will then sign a form for the finished construction.
In the case of a dispute, Domilico promises to resolve any existing problems within 60 days unless a specific agreement has been reached, or it’s the result of a major cause. During this time, your Project Manager will insure that the service professionals finish the work as was specified in the quotation.
An invoice with your balance will then be submitted to you for payment.
7. The guarantee
Once the balance is paid in full, the 10-year global guarantee is applied to the work done. Domilico thus assures you of a complete service from the beginning to the end of your project.
You will be given the name of a sales agent who will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding your file throughout the duration of your project.
